Dear Friends please join me in petitioning President Obama and Secretary Jewel to protect the gray wolves and keep them on the endangered list.

The wolves have made a comeback since they were reintroduced in some areas in 1995. However, states have at points allowed hunting and have hurt the re-establishment of the wolves. In 2010 in a single year of an Idaho hunt over 500 wolves were killed. It took a federal judge to intervene and stop the carnage.

Dear President Obama  and Secretary Jewell,

 Please keep the gray wolves on the endangered list. They are an essential part of their ecosystem. If they are delisted they risk becoming the target of state hunts. In 2010 in a single year of an Idaho hunt over 500 wolves were killed. It took a federal judge to intervene and stop the carnage. Please protect these beautiful creatures.
