Clemency for Glenn Metz serving 3 lives + 1st time non violent offender.

The Issue

This petition is written to request, that you sign for our father Glenn Metz Sr., to be granted a Presidential clemency.

We believe this to be fair, as our father Glenn Metz Sr., is a first time non violent offender who was convicted in a drug conspiracy case and received three life sentences and 70 years. He has been incarcerated for the last 24 years of our life. He was taken into custody when he was a 36 year old young man and he is now 60 years of age. That was in 1992. He had never been to jail for anything, not even a traffic violation.

He is a father of five. Also, he is a brother, uncle, nephew, grandfather and most of all a true man of God and yes as a young man he made some mistakes. If you ever talk to him he will take full responsibility for his actions but I also think everyone deserves a second chance to make first impression.

One of the ways I know he is a changed man, is just by talking to some of the guys that had been incarcerated with him over the years. They have told me things like, "Man your dad changed my life", "Your father is like a father to me", "He is the reason why I am involved in church", and "This guy made me become a man and stop operating and doing childish things as I did as a boy.

The suffering that my father has endured has truly been overwhelming. He has missed every one of his kids graduations. Every one of his grandkids being born. His daughters' wedding and the biggest suffering he has endured he most was just last year when he had to miss his own mothers' funeral. So please join us by signing this petition as we work hard to get our father home.

Thank You

We respectfully request that Glenn Metz Sr. be granted a Presidential Clemency and submit the signatures of the signees below who agree this to be fair and just act on their behalf.
