GMOs have been shown to be related to environment damage as well, the soil, water, and the animals that come into contact with GMOs all share the same grim fate. The destruction of the balance of biodiversity is never a good thing. There exists such a food cycle for a reason, everything eats, and is eaten. Spraying unhealthy chemicals on foods to repel animals in order to reserve for human consumption goes against the balance of nature. Lastly, think about all the traditional farms being pushed away because they're not even considered competition anymore. Companies, scratch that, A single company that goes by the name of Monsanto Company Inc. is the single entity of a monopoly that wipes away all its competitors by owning roughly 95% of GMO seeds, thereby controlling the market on hybrid seeds for agriculture.
