Plastic consumption is a major issue. Plastic bags are responsible for the deaths of one million marine animals each year and contribute to global climate change, which is becoming an increasingly dangerous situation. Many cities all over the world have already banned plastic bags, and Delta should follow their lead.

We are a group of grade 11 students in Delta seeking to improve the plastic situation and get our municipal government to impose a ban, just like Victoria. Your support is greatly appreciated.
