PetSmart is a popular pet store chain that sells a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish and small animals such as hamsters and guinea pigs. However, it has come to light that if these pets are not sold within a certain period of time, they are thrown away or killed. This is unacceptable and needs to stop.

According to PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), PetSmart has been caught throwing away live animals in the trash. In 2015 alone, there were over 1,000 complaints made against PetSmart for animal cruelty and neglect.

Furthermore, studies have shown that many people who buy pets from stores like PetSmart end up returning them or abandoning them due to lack of knowledge or resources needed to care for them properly. This leads to overcrowding in shelters and ultimately more euthanasia.

It's time for PetSmart to take responsibility for their actions and stop selling live animals altogether. Instead they should focus on promoting adoption from local shelters where animals are given a second chance at life.

We urge PetSmart to ban the sale of all live animals in their stores immediately. Let's work together towards creating a more humane world where all animals are treated with respect and compassion.
