Change banks attitudes on lending on wimpey no fines homes or houses constructed from concrete or sometimes described as none standard construction homes within the 20m vivacity of a mine shafts, our whole area is being bought up by buy to let investors for far less than their true market value as people either move leave or pass away, these homes are increasingly becoming available and its very clear estate agents have specific cash buyers on their books who buy and either flip the houses or rent them out.
We need to change attitudes of surveyors and banks and get lending on these homes as they were once loaned upon and it seems rather stupid that they one main reason they will not borrow is that if a borrower where to default on payments the house may not sell as quick as brick house so banks would have to wait longer to get funds back!
Local young families cannot afford to buy these homes cash so they are sent to auction and sold onto buy to let investors who charge large rents for a house that could be brought on a mortgage for far less.
If these houses are classed so low rate to buy why were they all sold at market value to all of us?
This means to me and my neighbors that we have been buying homes with a mortgage that these have now become un mortgagable and people are unable to buy and both my self and my family are being left out of pocket as we are stuck!
There is nothing wrong with our home its well maintained and no structural issues and is a very good family home.
