NZ is getting angry about vape stats and want MPs supporting real lung health not big tobacco mantra

(This ".." is perhaps something suitable to send to all candidates, given all demogaphics are affected and R and L parties will want to get an edge on an issue that is ready to 'ignite' and will attract votes, quite apart from this being vital for health and socioeconomic reasons. Paddy Gower's excellent tv episode, the 'Vape Generation', downloadable for free, has helped.)
"A party wanting to get attention for good reason can simply adopt an overdue vaping policy with precedent, easy to implement and not costly. It is imitating the US CDC, Mayo and Cleveland Clinic protocols and advice to attack our status of around 20% of year 12 and 13 students vaping, 25% 18-24 year olds. NZ is ready for change with many angry about this. A campaign to tell NZ the truth about vapes as is their legal right, proper support to quit vaping and safer methods to quit tobacco would be earth shattering in NZ but not in countries like Australia or the US which already do this. The hazards in aerosols of all vapes have always been known. Insurance companies treat risk of vaping and tobacco the same, the American Cancer Council and clinics above state vapes are too dangerous even for quitting tobacco. We have been stating the 'big tobacco' message that vapes are the great alternative."
Re long term issues from regular vaping, full on cancers may take a while to show, but mutations in oral mucosa et al as seen in tobacco smokers and high rates of lung disorders, like the very concerning COPD, are already found in those who vape but never smoked tobacco, as published in reputable journals.
