In Char Dham Yatra the fellow worshippers visit Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath Temple in the form of pilgrim. As these temples are situated high up in the hill, the old aged people (woman and men) and small children cannot walk continuously to these temple spots due to their health condition and tiredness. Looking at this the local villagers came up with the plan to make money by rendering service to these fellow devotees by giving a ferry on back of the horses to all the to the top these temples. 
The one who is brutally affected are these poor animals who has to make the passengers sit on their back along with their heavy luggages and carry them all the way up to the entrance of these temples. 
These horses are not well fed and always tortured by their owners who are just money-minded. They do not take well care of these horses and many of these horses die mid age of their lives due t exertion. If the humans want to really visit the temple and take the Gods blessing I kindly urge you to walk and only visit when you have the required strength in your legs. These poor animals shouldn't suffer just because we have to attend this place. They shouldn't be used for our sole benefit. I am firmly calling this as Animal Cruelty and want to stand for this as these poor animals who cannot express their pain and suffering badly need our help. 
We need to take action against this now or else it will be too late before these money-minded owners brutally torture and kill many horses which could have been saved in process. 
I request all my fellow members, friend and family to sign this petition so that we can put a stop this Animal Cruelty work that is going around in the name of Char Dham Yatra at Kedarnath, INDIA.
