Before this mini speech I would like to say first off I will start showing this petition to the government in my country NZ then once we get more we can go world wide!

 The $40 billion palm oil industry is notorious for wiping out rainforests, spewing carbon into the atmosphere and driving the orangutan and other animals toward extinction. Our rainforests contains half of all living plant and animal species on earth. 5,760 acres of wildlife habitat is lost per day, causing earth's wildlife to half in the past 40 years.

If we don’t take action now scientists believe that by 2050 approximately 1 million species will have gone extinct. If we start using Coconut oil and babassu oil we might be able to save these 1 million species.

unsustainably sourced palm oil is also affected us in many ways. kids in other less developed countries are forced to work sometimes 12 hours a day, planting oil palms. A government report estimated that more than 33,000 children work in the palm oil industry, nearly half between the ages 5-11.
