New Zealand has continued to maintain a strong mutual relationship with Indonesia for the benefit of growing their defense forces and resources through trading. By having ties with Indonesia, New Zealand is choosing to turn a blind eye on the inhumane mistreatment and genocide of the West Papuan people. Signing this petition will aim to make a change in Labour government's non-interventionism policy and ban trading between New Zealand and Indonesia.
