TikTok is a popular social media platform with over a billion people. It consists of short videos that people upload. But if you haven't noticed, TikTok is full of videos that are honestly idiotic, ridiculous, and/or actually dangerous. It's brought dangerous and illegal trends about like the Devious Licks challenge, which was basically stealing from schools. Misinformation can spread like wildfire here, and there are plenty of pointless videos that aren't even funny. I think these things and I'm in the very generation that TikTok is mostly for, Gen Z. I've seen my classmates try to sneak their phones into the bathrooms at school to record TikToks, which is against the No Phone Policy and the No Recording in a Bathroom Policy. Has anyone also seen the ones of this dude interviewing random people in New York? They're all dumb, and I'll bet it might be linked to TikTok.

Getting rid of TikTok will be beneficial to our society, as it will decrease the amount of stupid, mindless content that has been running through our generations minds. We are the future, and TikTok is not helping us get any further. While yes, there may be a few good videos, there is still way too many that are not all the good. The platform is also a breeding ground for cringe simps and thirst traps, toxic trolls, and genuine weirdoes.

In all, I'd say that TikTok is a cancer that needs to be removed from our world. I truly believe that we can get a great result from removing TikTok, so please, sign this petition and help us all by getting rid of TikTok.
