BAN THOMAS OFF OF SOCIAL MEDIA + Properly Investigate My Case & HEAR ME OUT.
The Issue
Hi, my name is Zachary McQuaid. I was born on April 30th 1993, I am currently 33 years old, and I reside in Canada, Ontario.
On YouTube, I operate the channel The Life of a Borderline. In 2023, I interviewed Daniel Clint Rich regarding his claims about the death of Kurt Cobain. I have also worked with Joe Burns, who has publicly come forward with an account that he describes as an eyewitness testimony related to Cobain's death, as well as information concerning an alleged deathbed confession.
These developments have attracted significant interest, and a Netflix documentary series is currently in development related to the broader subject matter. A link to my YouTube channel can be found in the Globe and Mail article referenced below.
In 2023, another major event occurred in my life that continues to have a profound impact on me. The comedian Sarah Silverman wanted legal action taken against me, which ultimately led to two criminal charges being laid by the Toronto Police Service's 12 Division. The official court documents can be reviewed through the Dropbox link provided below.
Click on the "Bail Package" PDF.
As a result of these proceedings, I spent approximately seven months in custody at the Toronto South Detention Centre in 2023. The experience had a significant impact on my life and continues to really affect me to this day.
Since 2019, I have endured a very difficult and challenging period in my life. My intention was to help people and contribute in a meaningful and positive way. However, instead of finding support and truth, I became involved with individuals who claimed they wanted to help me understand what happened to Hollywood actor and whistleblower Isaac Kappy following his death in 2019. Rather than receiving genuine assistance, I experienced manipulation, mistreatment, and conduct that caused significant emotional and personal harm.
In 2021, I had become severely depressed and increasingly angry as I began to understand what I believed had happened to me over the previous several years. Life had become extremely difficult. As the COVID-19 pandemic began, many community support services were disrupted, and for an extended period workers were unable to meet with their clients in person. During this time, I felt isolated, overwhelmed, and close to giving up on my life.
I also became involved with individuals connected to Infowars and Alex Jones. I was paid by Jonathan Wolfe, also known as "Jib Camera," who worked as a cameraman for Alex Jones, to distribute information online. Between 2019 and 2021, I came to believe that much of the information I was being encouraged to promote was misleading or false. Realizing this was deeply upsetting, as I felt I had been manipulated and used in ways that were harmful both to me and to the public.
I was being deceived and manipulated by individuals including Thomas Schoenberger and Gabe Hoffman. Looking back, I feel that I was being used to help spread narratives to others without fully understanding what was taking place. At the time, I did not realize that some of the information I was sharing may have contained misinformation or disinformation mixed with legitimate facts, making it difficult to distinguish truth from falsehood.
Much of this activity centered on discussions surrounding the death of actor Isaac Kappy. Through my involvement, I came to believe that information was being selectively presented or distorted in ways that influenced public understanding of the events. Isaac Kappy's death was officially ruled a suicide by authorities, although many debates and alternative theories continued to circulate online.
My website (Darkfalls.jimdofree.com), as well as the Dropbox materials, have provided me with a sense of increased safety and stability. Documenting my experiences in this way has helped me feel more organized and grounded while processing what I have been through.
Dropbox Link;
In 2020, One of my former mental health workers told me that two individuals, Thomas Schoenberger and Gabe Hoffman, had been repeatedly contacting her workplace by phone and email, and that their interactions with staff had become concerning. According to the worker, these contacts involved not only her, but also her supervisor and two of her coworkers. She did not provide me with many details, and at the time I did not believe what she was telling me.
As a result, I continued creating and uploading videos to YouTube that contained text and information provided by Thomas Schoenberger and Gabe Hoffman. In many cases, I publicly represented this material as my own writing and my own thoughts, believing that the information I was receiving from them was truthful and reliable.
Looking back, I now believe that this was exactly what Thomas Schoenberger wanted me to continue doing. At the time, I trusted him and accepted much of what he told me as fact. I now believe that trust was misplaced and that I was being misled.
Following that appointment, during a subsequent meeting with my other two mental health workers, I disclosed what the other worker had told me regarding the situation. In hindsight, I recognize that this was not appropriate for me to share in that setting, and I later realized I should not have repeated that information.
The worker had also indicated that the matter was being handled by police and that she was not authorized to discuss those details with me.
After I told my other two mental health workers what my housing worker had shared with me, that worker was subsequently removed from working with me. At my next appointment with the two mental health workers, they informed me that the specific worker would no longer be assigned to my case.
This was a difficult moment for me, as I was unsure at the time what had led to that change, and I was left trying to understand the situation and its implications.
During that meeting, the mental health workers also made additional statements to me that I found extremely upsetting and confusing. At the time, I experienced a strong emotional reaction, including anger and distress, and the impact of those comments has continued to affect me in the years since.
This is what they said to me:
"We just want to let you know that we support you in your decision in committing suicide, because you speak about it too much, and because we understand the seriousness of your situation... We also want you to know that it's nothing personal. People need to make money. Our boss Pio wanted us to tell you that."
One of those workers was the one who spoke those words, while she and the other worker were seated on two chairs in front of me during the appointment in my apartment. I was sitting across from them in my own chair as they delivered the statement.
The worker saying that to me, in the presence of her colleague in my apartment at the time, had a significant emotional impact on me and caused a great deal of ongoing stress. That moment has stayed with me for years and continues to affect how I reflect on that period of my life.
It was also the point at which I began to question the people I had been trusting and working with. Looking back, I felt as though I had placed trust in individuals who were not who I believed them to be. Over time, I came to feel that I had been misled during that entire period, and that I had unknowingly become involved in situations I did not fully understand.
In my experience and understanding of the online communities connected to Isaac’s case, I felt that some of the interactions I was involved in became harmful and destabilizing. I experienced what I perceived as stalking, harassment, deception, and false friendship dynamics, as well as manipulation and intimidation at different points.
I also felt that certain situations I was drawn into were increasingly high-risk and had a negative impact on my mental health and stability over time. Looking back, I believe my involvement in these spaces contributed to significant emotional distress and confusion for me.
I began experiencing periods of feeling mentally overwhelmed and emotionally distressed, where it felt difficult to fully process everything that was happening at once. During this time, I also started having very vivid dreams again, which I believe were connected to the high levels of stress I was under.
Overall, the experiences I went through, including those connected to Isaac and others involved in situations relating to Thomas Schoenberger, had a significant emotional impact on me and contributed to feelings of fear, stress, and trauma.
I confronted Thomas Schoenberger about what I believed to be inconsistencies and false statements I had identified, including material I had recorded or documented in calls.
Following this, I was told by him that my situation would change significantly by the next morning and that I had committed serious legal offences. The conversation left me feeling threatened and extremely unsettled.
After this period, I also experienced further communications from various individuals that I perceived as threatening or intimidating. These included statements suggesting severe legal consequences, long-term imprisonment, and threats directed toward my personal safety and living situation. These experiences had a significant emotional impact on me and contributed to a prolonged sense of fear and distress.
I have learned a number of difficult and upsetting things over time, which has been emotionally challenging to process. It has been particularly difficult for me to reconcile this information with my earlier perceptions of certain public figures and individuals involved in the entertainment industry, whom I had once admired since childhood. These realizations have been personally painful and have affected how I view those past beliefs and expectations.
I have often reflected on the idea of collective action and public awareness regarding issues that I believe require greater scrutiny and transparency. I feel that there are matters that deserve more attention, open discussion, and careful examination supported by evidence.
With that in mind, I have personally made significant efforts to contribute to documenting and sharing information in the hope that it could help bring further clarity and attention to these concerns.
Some of the individuals I was involved with were also connected socially or professionally to people in the Hollywood industry, including actor Seth Green and his wife Clare Grant.
Over time, I came to believe that Isaac Kappy may have been placed in a vulnerable position after publicly making serious allegations about individuals within that same circle. From my perspective and understanding at the time, I felt that online interactions and dynamics involving multiple people may have contributed to him being targeted, misled, or drawn into harmful situations.
Isaac Kappy died on May 14th, 2019. Mother's Day. His death was officially reported as a suicide by authorities, although it has been the subject of ongoing public debate and alternative theories.
Again, one of those people paid me back in 2019 to 2020 was Alex Jones' cameramen of Infowars - Jonathan Wolfe, as well as a business associate of Seth Green's - Michael A. Levine, who is also very close friends with Thomas Schoenberger and is known to be Thomas Schoenberger's best friend.
Thomas Schoenberger was involved in communications with Isaac Kappy and had gained his trust during that period. From my perspective, I later came to view those interactions as potentially misleading and harmful.
I have also come across allegations and online discussions connecting Thomas Schoenberger to broader internet movements and narratives, including references made in relation to QAnon.
I have gathered and saved various materials, including emails and PayPal screenshots, which I believe are relevant to my experiences.
These have been organized and stored in my Dropbox for reference.
Again, the Dropbox link specifically for that is;
I now understand that I placed trust in individuals and online sources that I later came to believe were not reliable. At the time, I did not fully recognize that the information I was exposed to may have contained a mix of accurate content, speculation, and misinformation. By early 2020, I began to realize the emotional impact this had on my wellbeing.
During that period, I experienced significant confusion, stress, and fear, which became difficult to manage. I now recognize that I may have shared or repeated information publicly without fully understanding its accuracy or origin, and that I was in a vulnerable mental state while processing everything.
These experiences had a lasting impact on my mental health and contributed to a period of instability.
In 2023, I faced serious consequences related to my actions during this time, including my incarceration for approximately seven months. I am still working through the long-term effects of these experiences.

In 2019, I was also made a public example out of on basically of how not to be to thousands of people, and I was being sued for 1 million dollars - Gabe Hoffman. Just Google "Zachary Brian Mcquaid of Toronto" and scroll. You will find links regarding all of it.
I was involved in creating and sharing online content where I reposted or copied text provided by others, and I received payments via PayPal after uploading videos to my YouTube channel. I was also paid for commenting on discussions related to legal cases.
Looking back, I recognize that I was vulnerable and influenced by online interactions and narratives that I did not fully understand at the time. I now believe I was exposed to misleading information and unhealthy online dynamics that affected my judgment and wellbeing.
I also came to understand more broadly how misinformation can spread online, particularly within conspiracy-focused communities, and how individuals can become deeply involved in content that mixes accurate information with speculation and false claims. This experience has led me to reflect on the impact such environments can have on mental health and decision-making, and I continue to process what I went through during that time.
