Ban therianthropy exploitation in Staten Island school

Ban therianthropy exploitation in Staten Island school
The Issue
Growing up in Staten Island and attending IS75, I've witnessed firsthand the silent menace lurking within our educational environment: the exploitation by therianthropy to minors. It's deeply troubling to see children, some even my friends, become enmeshed in an insidious web where their identity is preyed upon by harmful influences disguised as "cultural expressions." This issue is personal to me because I've seen the potential harm it poses, not only to mental health but also to the integrity of their formative years.
Therianthropy, which is often expressed through 'gear' such as tails, masks, paws, and the theta-delta symbol, has been co-opted by certain groups as a vehicle for grooming minors. Such groups subtly indoctrinate young minds via fake online organizations disguised as safe spaces, leaving them vulnerable to psychological manipulation.
Schools, sanctuaries meant for education and growth, must not become breeding grounds for such destructive activities. Therefore, I urge the administration of IS75 to take immediate corrective actions:
1. Prohibit students from wearing any items associated with therianthropy, such as tails, masks, and paws, within school premises.
2. Formally ban any groups or organizations that promote grooming and exploitation under the guise of cultural or personal identity.
3. Remove all mentions of "therianthropy" from school newspapers, bulletin boards, and advertisements to prevent the normalization of this gateway.
It's crucial that school authorities recognize the potential risk and act decisively to shield students from these negative influences. Tough decisions need to be made to foster an environment free from exploitation and manipulation. Protecting our kids should always be the priority.
Sign this petition today to help us say "no more" to the grooming and exploitation of minors under the guise of therianthropy. Your support can trigger the change needed to safeguard the well-being and futures of our children in Staten Island.
