The Elf on the Shelf tradition, though seemingly innocent, has a negative impact on our environment and teaches children harmful lessons.

Every year, millions of these elves are produced, packaged, and shipped worldwide. This process contributes to significant waste generation and carbon emissions. Moreover, this tradition promotes waste, bad behaviors and consumerism - people are wasting food, like spreading candy or flour or butter or sugar all around their elf, or rolling out tons of toilet paper pretending the elf is playing with snow, or smearing makeup and pretending the elf did it.
