Ban the use of shock collars in Canada

The Issue

A shock collar or remote training collar, also known as an e-collar, Ecollar, or electronic collar, is a type of training collar that utilizes electrical shocks to induce pain to the neck of a dog or other parts of its body, depending on the desired outcome.

It's important to note that shock collars are not a safe or humane option for training your furry friend, despite what certain trainers or pet store employees may suggest. While fear or pain-based methods may yield immediate results, they can ultimately cause additional behavioral issues such as aggression, phobias, and heightened stress levels in your dog.
