Ban the use of plastic bags at Loblaws

The Issue

Plastic bags are used for an average of 12 minutes. It takes 500 (or more) years for a plastic bag to degrade in a landfill.  Many plastics are also ending up in the water and marine life mistake the bags for food.

We want to see all single use plastic bags banned from Loblaws stores.  That would include thin, clear produce bags and grocery bags.  If no bags are available then customers will be forced to bring their own reuseable produce bags and grocery bags or boxes.
