Ban the Tea App

The Issue

The Tea App has become a direct threat to my safety, well-being, and peace of mind. This platform has not only allowed users to defame me but also many other men, subjecting us to harm in our personal, professional, and business lives. The lack of accountability and vetting on this app fosters an environment where misinformation can flourish unchecked, leading to emotional distress and anxiety for those falsely accused or defamed.

Every time I step out in public, I carry the fear of being judged by what might have been seen about me on the app, knowing that anyone could have been exposed to slanderous and unverified information. The betrayal of privacy on this platform has gone as far as disclosing the locations of my family members and my home. This breach of privacy presents a direct threat to my family's safety and well-being, and it raises valid concerns about the app's commitment to non-users security.

The app's policies—or lack thereof—enable malicious actors to weaponize it against innocent individuals, making it a dangerous tool in the wrong hands. Online platforms must implement robust mechanisms to prevent the spread of false information and protect their users from harassment and slander.

It is imperative that we hold the creators of the Tea App accountable for the consequences of their platform. Until they can ensure that our personal security is not compromised and that the content shared is truthful and verified, they should not be allowed to operate. Our safety and reputation are at stake, and immediate action is necessary.

By signing this petition, you stand with me in calling for the ban of the Tea App to ensure that no one else falls victim to their negligence. Repost on all your platforms and contact or tag your State Attorney General. Let's advocate for a safer digital space for everyone.
