South Africa exports lion bone to China for the production of Lion Bone Wine. The lions are bred in unhygienic conditions for this trade. Besides the cruelty and inhumane treatment many of these lions are diseased. Should South Africa continue with this trade?
The country has so much at risk especially in light of the current pandemic.
