I’m calling for a ban on the selling of fireworks to the public. ✋❌

Reasons why: 

For most autistic people, the unexpected nature of displays can cause anxiety & unnecessary stress and for those with sensory issues, fireworks can be very distressing.

� : Bees become so disoriented they don’t go back to their hives 

�: Birds have panic attacks at night, causing mass deaths 

�: Wild animals raising babies abandon their dens in fear 

�: Fish & other animals perish after ingesting firework debris 

�: Compassion animals have anxiety & panic attacks 

�‍♂️�‍♀️: Humans have PTSD

�‍♂️�‍♀️: Increase in the sounds levels can lead to restlessness, temporary or permanent hearing loss, high blood pressure and sleep disturbance. Fireworks can also cause respiratory problems such as Chronic or allergic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, sinusitis, rhinitis, pneumonia & laryngitis.

� : Not very environmentally friendly 

My dogs absolutely hate it and like your pets and other animals they have to put up with it for not just one night but for several nights because of the selling of fireworks which causes them unnecessary anxiety and stress which can easily be avoided 

 

It’s beyond me how they are still being sold in 2022.

Enough is enough. It’s time to speak up & take action putting a stop to the selling of fireworks. That’s why I’m calling for a ban on the selling of fireworks.
