This is a call to the Australian Government and to all Governments globally to ban the sale of animals in pet shops across their country. The call to stop the support of puppy and kitten farms. The call to be the voice that animals don't have. The call for people to adopt and rescue. This has been going on for far too long and it needs to stop. Puppy and kitten farmers constantly breed and breed until the animals can breed no more, and most offspring are born with health problems that can cause them and their future owners pain and heartbreak and unwarranted suffering. Pet shops fund these types of people. These are the stray animals we see on the streets, or in the countryside, these are the animals who are euthanised because of behavioural problems or because there's no room at the shelter where they've been dumped. These are the animals who need loving homes, to go to people who are experienced, and most of all willing. Please, we need to stop. For them.
