I believe the school dress code should be banned because it's unfair, it mainly  applies to girls, it hinders students' ability to express themselves and feel comfortable, it leads to unhappiness, it makes girls feel like what they wear is a distraction, it negatively affects the way girls look at themselves, and  it can make some girls feel singled out/objectified because they're told their clothing is too distracting to the boys, when it's not even too distracting.  Another reason why I believe the school dress code should be banned, is because it can make students of color feel discriminated against for things out of their control, so If the dress code doesn't change, then people will start feeling unhappy and insecure about themselves.!!
