A couple nights ago Pikachu had slipped out of his enclosure after I accidentally didn't put the cover on all the way.
He was fairly difficult to catch and wouldn't go in the live trap again unfortunately, so I had to outsmart him.
And when I say outsmart, I don't mean killing him, because killing animals is Never smart at all.
I had discovered a really cheap way to create a makeshift humane mouse trap, all you need is a large bowl, some bait like seeds, nuts, or cat food, and some oil, olive oil works best.
Now when I first saw this idea online I didn't think it'd work.
But it did, I was so relieved to find Pikachu in one piece, so I fixed his cover and returned him to his enclosure with many treats.
If you can make an effective live mouse trap for free, then you don't need to be wasting your money on glue traps.
