Fireworks cause innumerable problems with wildlife, pets, and people with PTSD.  There are always people who set them off all night on Victoria Day weekend and on Canada Day.  There are ones that have no sound, why not use those?  We have enough trauma in our lives without adding to it.

Studies have shown that animals go missing, squirrels and birds abandon their nests, children cannot sleep, adults have trouble sleeping all for a bit of so-called "fun".  Can we not find another way to celebrate Canada Day and other holidays?
