In many parts of the philippines, dogs and cats are still being sold, slaughtered, and eaten despite existing animal protection laws and also the laws about animals are being ignored of some many. these innocent animals doesn't deserve to be treated like this, they should be treated as family and companions, suffer in silence, being tied up and abandoning them. it is heartbreaking to know that the same animals we call "man's best friend" or part of the family are still victims of cruelty and neglect. 

The issues about this sometimes is being ignored that the government who declares the law about meat trading and eating of dogs are vanishing. if we could change this, the sale and slaughtering of dogs and cats will be finally banned, we will have a kinder and more humane society where peoples respect and also gives kindness to those who cannot speak. but is the things stays the same, that means no humans choose to change and save the voiceless animals. countless dogs and cats will continue to suffer.

I'm petitioning for a change, calling the animal lovers, concerned citizens, and advocates to call theP hilippine government, local authorities, and animal welfare organizations to strictly ban and enforce penalties to those who disobeys and did not follow the law. these animals are not meant for eating, they are born to live and follow their owners. let's make this petition for a change.
