Severe acts of animal cruelty have witnessed an alarming escalation via the creation and distribution of "animal crush" videos. These horrifying materials display animals being tortured and crushed to satisfy some viewers' sadistic tendencies. The continuance of these atrocities not only subjects helpless animals to unbearable cruelties but also fuels insensitivity and brutality among our society.

As per the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), thousands of such horrific videos are in circulation. This underlines the immediate necessity of stringent laws and measures to eliminate these practices in its entirety.

We call on lawmakers to ensure the production, distribution, and sale of animal crush videos is deemed an illegal activity and treated as a serious felony, thus ensuring strict penalties for culprits. We also urge international law enforcement agencies to extend their cooperation towards eliminating this menace and promoting a culture of empathy for all living beings.
