I care about animal rights and the ethicality of how animals are treated and slaughtered. The production of veal involves confining young calves in small crates, restricting their movement to keep their meat tender. This practice is not only cruel but also unnecessary in today's world where there are numerous alternatives available.

According to the Humane Society, veal calves are often taken from their mothers shortly after birth, causing significant distress for both mother and calf. They are then kept in confined spaces with limited social interaction and inadequate nutrition, leading to various health issues.

It's time we take a stand against this inhumane treatment of animals. By banning the production and marketing of veal, we can promote more ethical farming practices and ensure better welfare for these innocent creatures.
