The Hoons are as bad as ever. So frustrating.
As previously updated, we have written to all the relevant parliamentarians, and the response has been underwhelming.
All covering the same points.
- They are aware of our issue
- That the noise camera trials are under way to be concluded at the end of the year.
- To continue to report to the EPA or Police
We hope to come with further actions to take. I look forward to updating you as we move forward.
In the meantime, it is essential to continue to report incidents, as the collected data will help build a stronger case for to be prioritised for installing noise cameras in our area once the trials conclude.
Although police officers aren't equipped to measure noise levels, their presence can still deter noise polluters. Furthermore, if a vehicle is reported to the EPA twice, the driver will face the inconvenience of having their car inspected.
By reporting these incidents, we can contribute to creating a quieter environment.
