The grand national is a famous horse race , not for its entertainment,  but fir it being survival of the fittest . Loose hopes are allowed on the course meaning horses can crash into each other and even die . Even worse , if a horse breaks its leg.  It is killed even though it can heal. If this was done outside of sport it would be animal cruelty , if this was done by a non famous person it would be animal cruelty. So why isn't it .
