Petition updateBan the chemical that’s killing our beesLast year, one-third of our honeybee colonies died or disappeared! That is not counting the wild bees or the bumblebees.

It is astonishing that EPA recently approved a new, highly toxic bee-killing pesticide called sulfoxaflor for widespread use along with not banning other highly toxic chemicals (like the neonicotinoids poisons that destroy the pollinators nervous system, that scientists say is like "death by a thousand cuts.") proven to be decimating all of the bee populations.
The wild bee, the bumble bees, the honey bees as well as the butterflies are all dying from the use of these chemicals in our environment. The wild bees are harder to count, but there are now 4 types of bumblebee that are now known to be extinct.
The wild bees, who build their nest in the ground are poisoned by these neonicotinoid poison coated seeds. The ground and water supply is poisoned by them as well; so these poison coated seeds are harming all the creatures that live or make their home in the ground - like frogs, worms, fireflies, horn toads, ground hogs, etc.
Please join me by signing my petition against the EPA or sharing it with others. Please let's protect the bees and butterflies we have left or there may not be any left to protect. Act now!
