Hi everyone,
I have a major update regarding our fight for the Wildwood Five.
I recently received the final response from Canterbury City Council regarding my Freedom of Information requests. Their reply is a clear attempt to keep the truth hidden behind legal jargon.
Here is what they are hiding:
The "Secret" Inspections: The Council admits they have the findings from their recent visit to the park, but they are REFUSING to show them to us.
They claim the reports are "confidential" and that releasing them would look bad for the park.
The "Neither Confirm Nor Deny" Tactic: When asked if a Special Investigation was triggered by the pack's collapse, the Council refused to even confirm if one happened.
In the world of law, this usually means something did happen, but they don't want the public to know.
The Medical Gap: The Council claims they don't hold the vet logs or post-mortems—meaning the only people who can prove what happened with the "unexplained sepsis" are the park themselves.
The Meeting on Wednesday
I am taking all of this—along with the evidence we’ve gathered about sepsis timelines—straight into my meeting with the park this Wednesday.
If they have nothing to hide, they shouldn't need the Council to act as a legal bodyguard.
I won't let this be a stalemate.
I am going in to demand the transparency the wolves deserve.
Please keep sharing the petition. The more voices we have, the harder it is for them to hide behind these legal shields.
