It is amazing that the government petition has hit that 1,000 mark in just 48 hours.  Included in those signatures is the Born Free Foundation.

I cannot stress enough that we must hit at least 10,000 before the government issue a response. That still means half of you haven't signed. 

It is important to say that wolves don't belong in a public display case that is still subject to a law that's 45 years old and keeping wolves on a death sentence. They belong in the wild or at the very least in a specialized sanctuary.

The situation in Dundee 3 years ago is proof that this is a pattern.  So if you are a UK citizen, go over and sign the government petition. It takes less time than it did to sign this one. Just remember to confirm your signature in your email inbox for the signature to count.
