To all 18,000+ supporters,

I am writing to share some significant developments in our fight for the truth regarding Odin, Nuna, Maximus, Minimus, and Tiberius.

1. The Council Intervenes

Following our formal submission of the petition and a technical dossier of concerns, Canterbury Council has confirmed they have requested a formal freeze on the wolf enclosure. They are sending a representative to the park "the week after next" to conduct an initial investigation ahead of the APHA (Animal and Plant Health Agency) expert inspection in June. Our voices have forced the regulators to act.

2. A Bittersweet Victory: The End of the Wolf Program

I have received confirmation via industry experts and regional media sources that Wildwood has decided to permanently close its wolf program. They will not be bringing in new wolves to replace the pack we lost.

While this is incredibly difficult to hear—knowing we will never see a pack in that space again—it is a victory for animal welfare. By standing together, we have ensured that no other wolves will be subjected to the management failures and "slow-motion disasters" that led to this tragedy. We have protected the future by honoring the past.

3. The May Meeting

I will be travelling 8 hours (round trip) in May to meet with Wildwood management face-to-face. I am going there not just as an adopter, but as your representative. I will be demanding:

The Medical Truth: A full explanation of the "sepsis" timeline and why injuries were allowed to reach an unsurvivable stage.

The Management "Why": Why biological certainties like mating season and pack aggression were not managed with physical separation months in advance.

Total Transparency: An honest account that matches what they tell the APHA inspectors.

Final Thoughts

I recently spoke with the founder of Wolf Watch UK, who personally commended the work we are doing here. That validation belongs to all of you.

I’ll be standing at the fence of their former home in May to say a final goodbye to our five boys and girls. I’ll be taking your 18,000+ names with me.

Thank you for staying in the fight. Let's keep these signatures rising.
