Good Evening! 

       As of today, the petition currently has 2,259 signatures. We have made so much progress since the last update, but we still have a ways to go. Please spread the word about the petition to your family, friends, followers, etc. so we can get as many signatures as possible. 

       As anybody who has been following this situation knows, this weekend was absolutely horrifying to watch Maya go through. Her Gofundme campaign has been targeted by Talib Kweli’s fans and is being flagged as spam (meaning she currently cannot collect any funds from the page), and her family is now being targeted and their jobs are at risk. We all know that this absolutely falls under the umbrella of targeted harassment and needs to be stopped.

        The least we can do to help is sign, share, report harassment on Instagram, and inform people about this situation because we are currently seeing what happens when a large platform is abused and used for harmful purposes. Keep raising awareness about this situation, stay safe, pray for Maya, and have a wonderful week. Thank you!
