I am a second-generation Indian American who has consistently supported anti-racist movements such as Black Lives Matter and Stop Asian Hate. Content that algorithmically perpetuates hate, such as that from the YouTube channel 'Small Brained American' and his podcast channel 'Small Brained Pod' represents a disturbing new wave of disguised white supremacy. It feels like a massive step back toward intolerance and prejudice. It's crucial that we wake up as a global community and reaffirm that hate speech, even when disguised as travel commentary, is intolerable and must be addressed.

The YouTube channel in question is engaged in spreading hate against Indians, venturing far beyond recounting a negative travel experience. The creator dehumanizes 1.3 billion people by perpetuating harmful stereotypes, including claims that Indians are uniformly dirty, smelly, and scammers. This narrative is not only misleading but dangerous, fueling hate and fear.

A particularly egregious example is his most viewed video titled "India Sucks, Never Come Here", where he mischaracterizes his perspective as universal truth, grossly misrepresenting events by attaching misleading subtitles and narratives that dont just dehumanizing, but actually defame vulnerable street vendors and other low income indian civilian who cannot defend themselves. Such content is not mere criticism; it is hate speech designed to incite negativity and bias.

The spread of such hate-driven content is a step back for inclusivity and respect among diverse populations. Platforms like YouTube have a responsibility to ensure that their space does not become a breeding ground for discrimination and division, especially given the rise of hate crimes against Indians. We urge YouTube to take immediate action in reviewing and banning channels, such as 'Small Brained American', that propagate harmful stereotypes and hate speech.
