My own dog is a very dog and human reactive animal. She is fear reactive which simply means she reacts out of fear. For me to then add stress, pain and additional fear on top is unnecessary and barbaric. There are so many dogs like my own that are forced into wearing these devices by so called professional trainers. And by no means are their owners to blame in many cases as they are told 'it doesn't hurt', 'used correctly these are wonderful tools', 'we can't train your dog using positive reinforcement'
