Growing up in a nation built upon the foundation of freedom and democracy, nothing resonates more deeply with me than the values enshrined in the US Constitution. However, I have recently observed alarming situations where certain individuals, particularly Muslim Imams and politicians, have issued threats to American citizens, calling for conversion to Islam and adherence to Sharia Law under the intimidation of violence. These threats, which include terrifying visions of bloodshed in our streets, are utterly contrary to the freedoms we cherish and the laws that govern our land.

Sharia Law, unlike the legal framework established by the Constitution, incorporates principles that conflict with fundamental American values such as freedom of religion, equality, and the rule of secular law. Allowing the introduction or recognition of Sharia Law in any capacity within the United States poses a significant risk to the integrity of our legal system and the rights and freedoms guaranteed to every individual.

To preserve our values and the safety of our citizens, it is imperative that a clear and decisive ban on Sharia Law be implemented across all 50 states. This petition appeals to the President of the United States, members of the House of Representatives, the Senate, as well as governors, mayors, state senators, and councilmen to take immediate legislative action.
