Despite the availability of parental controls, children are still exposed to inappropriate content and, in some instances, subjected to highly unsuitable interactions. More distressingly, some of the games on this platform seem to contribute to behavioural changes in children, resulting in signs of addiction. The repercussions of confronting this gaming behaviour often leads to aggressive reactions from the children, creating a problematic dynamic in households.

Moreover, there have been disturbing reports of children being groomed through this platform. A position no parent wishes to find themselves in. Roblox is being used as a conduit for predators, exploiting the innocence and trust of our young ones. This is not only a breach of trust but also a significant risk to their safety and wellbeing, and it is a matter that cannot be ignored.

In light of these issues, banning Roblox in the UK presents itself as the most effective solution to protect our children from potential harm. By severing access, we remove a direct avenue of dangerous interaction and reduce the risk of exposure to harmful content.
