The Issue

I am deeply saddened and outraged by the gross misconduct of a professional dressage trainer , Charlotte Dujardin, who brutally beat a horse on its legs, as filmed, 24 times, justifying this under the guise of "sport” .
Allegedly filmed 4 years ago, it begs to differ that this could possibly just be “ a one off” . Clearly there are other people involved too.

Many of us view our animal's as family members, providing them with a safe, loving environment. So, it is shocking to witness such inhumane and disgraceful behavior from someone expected to show respect for animals. Despite the Animal Welfare Act 2006 stating that animals are not to suffer unnecessarily, this torment sadly persists.

According to the RSPCA, in 2018 alone, there were about 130,000 calls received related to animal cruelty in England and Wales (source: RSPCA Annual Review). Therefore, each sign placed on this petition is a powerful declaration against animal abuse.

By signing this petition, we call upon the relevant authorities to banish this trainer from ever owning animals again. The legal action is not just a punishment for the horrid act but also a deterring message to all who may think of inflicting harm on animals. Let's use our collective voice to implement change and ensure the safety of animals under care. Please sign this petition today; Together, we can be the change, and end animal cruelty.
