Auckland Council have confirmed that an unprecedented number of submissions opposing a resource consent for a private use helicopter have been received.
- 1,397 submissions received
- 1,277 were opposed
- 108 supported it
- 12 were neutral
Quiet Sky Waitematā is absolutely delighted to see such strong opposition to this application that will have far reaching impacts on the quiet Westmere community and the sheltered Coxs Bay that is home for many endangered birds. Thank you to everyone who took the time to send in your submission.
