My eight-year-old autistic child came across what seem to be a fun cartoon character and as he watched it it seemed as if he became very aggressive and started biting and pinching he’s never been aggressive and my fiancé and I googled this character (huggy wuggy) and the things that they show these children is to harm the people they love. I’m asking to stop letting these creators on YouTube and TicTok make these videos and characters that seem innocent and have them doing and saying very horrible things. My son has now become very violent because of these videos and characters. We are now in a horrible spot in our lives because of these videos, medication, psych wards and lots of correcting. I am going to attach some photos of what my son has done to me because he said that his dad and I are evil and he needs to hurt us.

The concerning videos are FAN-MADE, produced by someone who admires a particular TV show, film, or videogame.  The following is a list of some of the YouTube Channels that have made the concerning videos:

The videos include, but are not limited to offensive language, cartoon representations of alcohol use, blood, stabbings, decapitations, attempted murder, murder, and the bloody aftermath of a car crash.  

In one of the videos a toy cartoon character tells a cartoon person, “My hugs don’t hurt one bit, you’ll be dead before the pain comes!”  The character then hugs and squeezes the person until they turn blue and passes out.
