After 36 days of follow up. This is what I have been told. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My name is Michael, I am a PayPal Senior Specialist and I have been made aware of your concern. I apologize sincerely for all the difficulty that has occurred with your PayPal account. I hope the information I provide will be helpful. The issues you are experiencing are indeed technical issues. PayPal does not indiscriminately hold customers' funds. In order to address this situation, I have two recommendations for you that may get the job done. It's possible that neither one will work, but I believe at least one of them will. I know you've been disappointed before, but I can't guarantee success. However, I will do my best to assist. First, please log out of everything on your computer, delete the cookies and temporary internet files (do this through Windows Control Panels including Java, Internet Options and Flash Player, if applicable) and then shut down your computer, modem and, if applicable, your WiFi router. I know you have been asked to do this before. Please take these steps again. After your equipment has been unpowered for at least a few minutes, please turn everything back on and navigate to https:http://www.paypal.com/wdfunds. You will be asked to log in and then please attempt to withdraw the funds in your PayPal account balance. If this does not work, the only other suggestion at this point (other than waiting for PayPal's Technical Teams to determine what is causing the problem with your account and find a fix) would be to create a new PayPal account, remove your bank account from your current account, add the bank account to the new account, transfer the funds to the new account and attempt a withdrawal. I or one of my colleagues can help with the transfer of funds. It may be necessary for you to create a new, temporary email account to use for the purpose of creating the new PayPal account. If you choose to do this, after the new PayPal account has been created, please send an email to askpaypal@paypal.com stating you authorize PayPal to transfer the funds to the new account. Please add ATTN: Michael at the end of the subject line. The message should be sent from the email address on the old account and the message should include mention of the email address for the new account. If someone else has mentioned either or both of these suggestions, I apologize for the repetition. However, I did not see either of these things mentioned in my review of your messages. Please let me know if you have any questions about either of these suggestions. I really am sorry for all this trouble, but thank you for your perseverance in continuing to work with us. Sincerely, Michael Paypal.
