We believe our employment opportunities should not be restricted, as service providers in the beauty industry we have paid for our education, training and licensing. There are no trade secrets to protect.  Employers are using non compete contracts to restrict the rights and freedoms of employees. Employees are being held in oppressive environments with the threat of a lawsuit from the employer if they seek a better suited place of employment. 

Our right and freedom to choose where we earn our living is being violated. Restriction by employers with ill intent to decide when and where we can earn a living severely limits our opportunity to be compensated fairly and to provide for our families. We should have the freedom and right to work where we choose, just as customers and clients have the right to choose where they want to do business.
