The Issue

Since recent events, I have been deeply disturbed by Mamdani's involvement with 911 and his unapologetically antisemitic remarks. These comments are not only deeply offensive to the Jewish community but they also have no place in a position of public influence.

Mamdani's views have consistently aligned against the values of tolerance and equality that are foundational to our community. His rhetoric perpetuates harmful stereotypes and fosters an environment where antisemitism can thrive. This is not the type of representation we need in the public sphere, especially in roles that directly engage with the security and emergency issues related to 911.

Furthermore, allowing someone with such divisive opinions to have access to sensitive emergency services is both inappropriate and risky. The role demands neutral, unbiased individuals who can serve all communities fairly and equally. Mamdani's track record indicates a clear inability to provide such impartiality.

We need leaders in 911 services who are committed to upholding peace, safety, and inclusivity for everyone, regardless of their background or beliefs. By banning Mamdani from any association with 911, we take a step towards ensuring these values are preserved in our emergency services.

Join me in standing up against discrimination and in advocating for a 911 system that truly serves everyone equally. Please sign this petition to make our voices heard and make a difference.
