The Issue
For the sake all that is good and Holy, please help take back our mental bandwidth 30 seconds at a time and by removing ALL marketing and advertising from Liberty Mutual*- until they can stop pumping out these meta-ironic, toxic loads of non-sensical drivel.
This would involve the wholesale removal of all those involved...from the decision-makers to all the flaccid "yes" men and women along the way...
- Marketing managers
- Art/Creative Directors
- Copywriters
- Compliance/Legal
- Production Company (Casting, Costume, Designers, Producers, Camera, Audio, etc.)
- and, of course, the "talent"...including that damned emu.
Surely we can find productive and non-creative roles for them in society like a human doorstop, sign spinner, writing for SNL, etc.
Also, I'd like to call for the public execution** of the musical savant that penned their jingle. I think this pretty much speaks for itself.
Again...help us restore the blend of good entertainment, well-crafted copy, creative storytelling, and sparkling production that once was advertising by identifying and eliminating marketing and advertising that panders to the lowest common denominator, like Liberty Mutual.
*to lump their steaming piles of media into these categories is giving them too much credit
