Ban Kite Flying and Sales in Pakistan to Prevent Fatalities

The Issue

Although kite flying has been observed as a fun activity and in some areas it's also celebrated as an occasion, but no one can deny the lethal side of kite flying which has not just caused fatalities among public but man birds are also being affected. Its sharp glass coated thread has often been the cause of fatal accidents on roads, and it also cut through the neck of many motorcyclist, As well as many birds has been found strangled to death in these glass coated threads.

What's at stake is the safety and well-being of humans and animals in Pakistan. If things change and kite flying and sales are banned, it could mean a significant reduction in fatalities and injuries caused by kite strings and other related accidents. It could also lead to a decrease in animal cruelty cases, as birds and other animals often get entangled in kite strings. On the other hand, if things stay the same, the traditional practice of kite flying may continue to claim lives and cause harm, perpetuating a cycle of preventable tragedies. By banning kite flying and sales, Pakistan can prioritize human and animal safety, while also promoting alternative recreational activities that do not pose a risk to life.

The time to act is now because the devastating impact of kite flying on human and animal lives in Pakistan has reached a critical point. Every year, countless people, including children, lose their lives or suffer severe injuries due to kite string accidents. Moreover, animals continue to endure immense suffering and cruelty. The frequency and severity of these incidents demand immediate attention and action. By banning kite flying and sales now, we can prevent further loss of life and limb, and create a safer, more compassionate society. Delaying action will only lead to more tragedies, perpetuating a cycle of harm and suffering. We must seize this moment to prioritize safety, empathy, and responsible recreation, and ensure a brighter future for all. The time for change is now!
With this petition we look forward to our authorities to imply complete ban on kite flying to avoid further brutal deaths and sorrow
