Enough is Enough! Stop discriminating against blacks in China

The Issue

Over the past few weeks or so, you may have heard or seen on social media and some news outlets that black people have being racially discriminated against in Guangzhou, China. These claims are backed by video evidence widely seen on the news and social media.

a. They have been forcefully kicked out of their lawful accommodation in Guangzhou, China.

b. They have been denied access to healthcare (desperately, as was in the case of a pregnant woman denied entry to a hospital in China).

c. They have also been denied entry to shops, hotels etc in China.

d. People are currently sleeping on the streets with no home to go to. These are people that have not broken any laws but yet are treated as criminals in a country they thought was their home.

The Chinese government has claimed that the policy is not discriminatory towards Africans or blacks and is necessary to prevent a re-emergence of the coronavirus by foreigners coming into China.

My questions to the Chinese government if that was the case are thus;

1. Why is the policy only targeted at black people?

2. If the policy is not discriminatory, why did they not enforce a full lock down on everybody and not just Africans or blacks in China?

3. Majority of the people who have been kicked out of their homes and onto the streets in China with nowhere to go are either, people who have not travelled out of mainland China for months, or people who came into the country on business and have served a mandatory 14 days in quarantine as requested by the Chinese government.

PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION TO SEND A MESSAGE TO CHINA, AFRICAN UNION,  AFRICAN GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS THAT WE WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS RACISM AND DISCRIMINATION ON OUR BLACK BROTHERS AND SISTERS ALL OVER THE WORLD. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!
