The Issue

I have been personally and repeatedly attacked someone who continually attacks members of the stepping community via lives in which she uses aggressive and harmful cyber bullying tactics. Alongside other steppers and friends in the stepping community over the last year, I have become the target of her relentless harassment on social media platforms such as Facebook. It has become crucial to put a halt to her detrimental actions that not only affect individuals like me but the broader stepping community as well.

She has been partaking in cyber bullying through harsh social media attacks, live streams, and posts that divulge private information of her victims without their consent. Her Facebook page is filled with lives, pictures and posts of hate, rage and rants targeting her victims. These posts are created to inflict public embarrassment and exert authority over her victims. Her bullying tactics have caused distress among many members of the Chicago stepping community—a vibrant group known for its unity and passion for the art of stepping. Her actions do not foster this environment; rather, they create division, undeserved stress and instill fear in the hearts of many.

Furthermore, she has been monetizing stepping videos without proper authorization or respect towards the artists involved. This has not only exploited the art form but further tarnished the essence of the stepping community by prioritizing personal gain over community enrichment. This behavior should not be tolerated.

Stepping is more than just an artistic dance; it is a cultural expression that holds significant meaning to countless individuals. It is essential that we preserve this tradition by ensuring steps are taken to safeguard community members from harassment and exploitation. By banning this woman & her toxicity from any stepping event across the U.S. or abroad, we can ensure that the stepping community remains a positive and nurturing environment for all.

Let us stand together to put an end to her behavior and set a higher standard of unity in our community.  Let us create a safe space for artists to express themselves freely without fear of harassment or privacy invasion. Sign this petition to send the message that toxicity and cyberbullying from this woman must be stopped and banning her from all stepping events is our effort to help protect our vibrant community.
