🚨 URGENT: Village of Northfield Residents & Stakeholders 🚨

You have heard about the proposed tax increment financing (TIF) district?
Not too many people have and that is concerning.
Why does this matter?
TIF districts create huge opportunities for properties to be taken by eminent domain for large density redevelopment. For a Home Rule municipality, this becomes increasingly concerning regarding unwanted “entertainment” and “destination” developments that can be voted upon by the Village Board with limited community input.
