Ban hunting with hounds. Adopt the Scottish hunting with Dogs amendment to the Hunting Act
The Issue
The Hunting Act 2004 left loopholes resulting with Hunts continuing to kill wildlife with the use of packs of hounds.
The Scottish Parliament has passed amendments to the Hunting Act to close loopholes. The new Scottish Hunting Act 2023 has updated and clarified the existing Hunting Act.
I am calling for the English Parliament to adopt the changes to in the Scottish Hunting Act 2023 into to the Hunting Act 2004 to streamline legislation across the UK.
