Replace the horses with electric carriages!

Dearest supporter, The campaign has been advancing thanks to all the wonderful people like you who have taken a stand against the abuse that our horses in Montreal endure daily. Mayor Denis Coderre himself and his counselors have finally admitted that there is a serious problem. But the caleche (carriage) horses here in Montreal still need your help. Last April, after a horse was hit by car, the Mayor tried calling for a ban which unfortunately failed. We now have a new option on the table: an ELECTRIC CARRIAGE which requires the outdated laws to be modernized in order to allow a carriage to operate in Montreal without a horse. Now more than ever do we need your help by asking the decision-makers to update the laws, retire the horses in green pastures, and replace them with electric carriages.
